Elk Creek Farm is a hybrid farm house elegantly restored in a Global style that reflects the artist owners. Situated on 26 certified organic acres and surrounded by lands still owned by the original farmers families, our hayfields, the magnificent barn, a year round brook, and vegetable garden will invite you to amble and relax. And the Wi-Fi gives you the opportunity to stay connected.
Our fully equipped kitchen and organic vegetable garden invites gourmet cooking, and glorious BBQ's overlooking our maple and heirloom tree hillside.
The downstairs has ample rooms, living and dining are combined in one, den, kitchen with dishwasher and pellet stove, full bath make up the rest. It's
always a treat to rent a house when the owners are an artist and an interior designer -- their creative use of color and texture makes for a comfortable yet invigorating experience.
The kitchen has a pellet stove for extra heat and a breakfast nook. The heat for the kitchen comes out from under the banquet seats for toasty buns in the morning!
The den is a great place to hunker down with a cup of tea and great book. Chances are there will be some tea samples for you to choose from as the owner blends the most incredible teas. There is no TV here but let us know if that's a problem. There is one bedroom on the main floor and a full bath.
There are endless trails for hiking and we are 10 minutes from the West Branch of the Delaware river for excellent fly fishing.
We are only 5 minutes from the historic West Kortright center and Hanford Mills museum and 30 minutes from the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame.
