Head off on adventures from golf at the nearby Stamford Golf Club, fly fishing in the West Branch of the Delaware River, or take a short ride up to Cooperstown for the Baseball Hall of Fame. There's a new horseback trail riding at Circle A in Harpersfield.
Relax in the shade of the old barn. Walk through the fields and visit the cows the next farm over - agricultural history is everywhere in this pleasant valley.
Easy drive to the West Kortright Centre for music and performances all summer, or check out the Hanford Mills Museum in East Meredith, Hobart Book Village and other local attractions.
